At Rivertree Free School, our aim is to empower our pupils to become global citizens and provide them with the skills and opportunities to positively impact the wider world. We want to nurture their abilities to appreciate and discuss aspects of arts and culture, sports, nature, and science by offering them a wide range of experiences both within and beyond the classroom. We celebrate the diverse heritage, languages, and traditions of the UK and the wider world, fostering knowledge and curiosity about others. 

We firmly believe that exposure, not only to culture but also to situations that may be new to our pupils, is crucial to their ongoing success. To achieve this, we organise a variety of trips, invite visitors to the school, and create opportunities for pupils to engage with the wider world. These range from trips to the local supermarket, sporting events, Forest School and many more! 

We believe that it is not just the experiences themselves that matter, but also the chance for pupils to interact with those who are making a difference and to influence their own world. Therefore, we want pupils to experience events that provide them with new insights, new vocabulary, new aspirations, and renewed confidence to become the people they want to be.
